What’s your area of expertise?
I specialise in Wills and Estate Planning, Powers of Attorney, Court of Protection matters, Administration of Estates and advising on Care Fee Planning. I am a member of the Society of Trusts and Estate Practitioners and Solicitors for the Elderly.
What do you enjoy most about your job?
I particularly enjoy meeting with clients and understanding their needs, as well as the variety of work the role brings. I relish helping private clients in a variety of ways that improve their lives by finding solutions to problems. These include drafting Wills, Trusts and Powers of Attorney, offering Inheritance Tax advice and dealing with the Court of Protection. I also advise on funding for long term care and like making a difference by helping the elderly.
What makes you tick?
Helping clients and their families achieve their aims motivates me. I take particular satisfaction when clients feel they can refer friends and family to me as I know I have done a good job then.
When I’m not at work I enjoy cycling, kayaking, rugby, cricket and football – and of course spending time with my family.
