What’s your area of expertise?
I am an Associate Solicitor in Blanchards Bailey’s Litigation and Disputes team. I specialise in all aspects of property and company commercial disputes. I started legal practice in 2008 and joined Blanchards Bailey in 2017. I offer clients a mindful, logical and down-to-earth approach.
I aim to understand our clients’ objectives at the outset and, working alongside other members of the team, strike the balance between a firm and conciliatory approach depending on the specific circumstances of a case.
I am a believer in early resolution and settlement (where appropriate) to avoid the cost and stress of litigation. It is also my view that “prevention is better than cure” with it being beneficial to obtain legal advice when a dispute is looming, rather than after it has started.
What do you enjoy most about your job?
I relish getting to the core of a dispute early and resolving matters swiftly and cost efficiently for our clients. I also really enjoy building and maintaining relationships with clients and contacts across the south west and participating in local community events.
What makes you tick?
I approach each day by asking myself: how best I can be of assistance to those around me whether clients, colleagues, business contacts or friends?
When away from the office I enjoy getting involved in local shoots as well as countryside walking and fishing. When possible I combine this with local food and drink as I love the range of produce that Dorset offers!
