A Professional & Personal Service

Services - For Individuals

Education Law

From May 2010 we are pleased to offer a specialist service for those schools considering the change to Academy status: briefings are available for free and we plan a seminar before the end of the summer term to those who wish to review and discuss their options further. Please email annette.brown@blanchardsbailey.co.uk for further information or contact the project administrator joan.anglis@blanchardsbailey.co.uk to register your interest. The first briefing note (June 2010) as well as details of our Academy project team and professional guidance can also be obtained from these people by email or post.

We undertake work across a wide range of Educational Law, primarily from the perspective of the child. We have the experience and understanding required to offer parents and children the support they need in respect of the following matters:-

  • Admissions
  • Bullying
  • Exclusions
  • Children educated out of school
  • Discrimination
  • Special educational needs
  • Negligence
  • Breach of contract
  • Private schools
  • The Local Government Ombudsman
  • Funding

We also act for teachers and lecturers against schools or higher education institutions.

Please contact Sheila Johns for further details of how we can help you.
